Client: “I can’t concentrate when you keep tapping like that!”

Me: “I’m typing. This is the sound of typing.”

Client: “No, THIS is the sound of typing (he starts gingerly finger-pecking the keys). Notice the difference?”

Me: “Alright then, THIS is the sound of work actually getting done.”

Client: “It’s the sound of a jerk being a…jerk, if you ask me.”

You’ve created and distributed your press release, but now what? PRWeb shows how social media can take it to the next level…

I reblog this every time.

Just reblog it.

I reblog this for all of the servicemembers and Vets suffering from PTSD. You should reblog this too.

When you grow up, all you think about is the day you become the director of everything. You want to be president. You want to be the lead singer of the band. You want to be AWESOME.

Now that I’m reaching the end of “growing up”, I realize I don’t want to be the director of everything. I don’t want to take that risk. I like working in a team, with other people in order to form the best ideas for a company as a whole.

I just felt like I should share that bit about myself.

world-shaker:

Fair use is like a muscle; the more it is exercised, the stronger it becomes. Robust scholarship requires robust fair use.
  • Do exercise your fair-use rights to teach and research using copyrighted materials, just as your peers are doing.
  • Do teach best copyright practices.
  • Don’t mix up fair use and educational exemptions.
  • Don’t expect to get a pass on fair use because your use is noncommercial, but don’t be afraid of fair use in commercial settings, either.
  • Don’t confuse fair use with the open-source movement or Creative Commons.
